Systems Engineer
Provide expert IT support for Windows and Linux environments, manage Active Directory, troubleshoot network issues, and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware and Azure. Deliver remote assistance and proactive system monitoring to ensure high availability and user satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end‑users across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Administer Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policy, and access control.
- Maintain and troubleshoot virtualized environments (VMware) and cloud services (Azure).
- Provide remote support via RDP, VPN, and ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Implement monitoring tools, perform system backups, and document procedures for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT support experience in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with VMware vSphere and Azure services.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and basic Linux shell commands.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
