About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical escalation point for incidents reported by IT Technicians and operations teams, diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure, network, and system‑level issues.
- Provide on‑call support during operational hours and after hours, ensuring rapid incident resolution and minimal impact on warehouse operations.
- Maintain and monitor Windows Server and Linux environments, including patch management, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V), including VM provisioning, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement preventive measures, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration within a large‑scale operational environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network, storage, and application issues.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, or similar) and incident management processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
