IT Support Engineer focused on diagnosing and repairing computer hardware, installing and configuring Windows and Linux systems, and managing LAN/WAN/VLAN networks using hands‑on expertise in drivers and antivirus solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair computer hardware components such as RAM, SSDs/HDDs, screens, keyboards, batteries, and motherboards.
- Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems, device drivers, software applications, and antivirus solutions.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network‑related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and VLAN networks, including cabling, switches, and routers.
- Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and performance optimizations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands‑on networking skills with LAN, WAN, and VLAN configuration.
- Experience with device driver installation and antivirus management.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
