Systems Engineer
Provide first‑ and second‑level support for end users and ERP applications, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure system availability using Windows, Linux, SQL and scripting skills.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑ and second‑level technical support for ERP users, diagnosing and resolving application and infrastructure incidents.
- Maintain and monitor Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance of ERP environments.
- Administer Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies in line with security standards.
- Develop and execute PowerShell/Bash scripts for automation, routine maintenance, and data extraction from SQL databases.
- Collaborate with ERP functional teams to implement patches, upgrades, and customizations while minimizing downtime.
- Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures in the ticketing system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an ERP‑centric environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and SQL database administration.
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, user provisioning, and group policy management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell (or Bash) scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- ITIL or similar service‑management certification is a plus.
