Systems Engineer
Provide first‑line technical support for Windows and Linux environments, manage user accounts, troubleshoot network and hardware issues, and automate tasks using PowerShell while adhering to ITIL best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely first‑line support for Windows, Linux and networking issues across the organization.
- Manage user lifecycle activities in Active Directory, including provisioning, de‑provisioning and permission audits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and VPN connectivity problems for end‑users.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve service efficiency.
- Document incidents, resolutions and knowledge‑base articles in the ticketing system following ITIL processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux operating systems and Active Directory administration.
- Proficiency in PowerShell (or Bash) scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL service management principles and ticketing tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment.
