Systems Engineer
Provide on‑site technical support, manage Windows environments, Office 365, and network infrastructure while promoting security best practices for a growing lumberyard operation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑line troubleshooting and resolution for Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals across the Concord facility.
- Administer Active Directory accounts, group policies, and Office 365 services, ensuring proper provisioning and de‑provisioning.
- Maintain and monitor local network equipment, VPN connections, and Wi‑Fi access points to guarantee reliable connectivity.
- Respond to support tickets, document solutions, and follow up to ensure user satisfaction.
- Conduct security awareness training and enforce best practices to protect company data and systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in Windows desktop support and Active Directory administration.
- Proficiency with Office 365 administration, email migration, and collaboration tools.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and strong documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and problem solving.
