Systems Engineer
Provide first‑line technical support and operational oversight for enterprise IT infrastructure, handling incidents, user requests, and system maintenance using Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑line support for Windows and Linux environments, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and related identity services.
- Monitor and maintain servers, virtual machines, and cloud resources (AWS/Azure), ensuring availability and performance.
- Process incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, adhering to ITIL best practices and service level agreements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline routine operational tasks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and security hardening.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or operations within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS or Ubuntu), and Active Directory administration.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or Bash) for automation and problem resolution.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and basic networking concepts.
