Software Engineer
IT Specialist responsible for maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure of the Economic Applications Division, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring uptime and reliability for mission‑critical applications.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and VPN connectivity.
- Apply security best practices: patch management, vulnerability scanning, and access control across all platforms.
- Manage relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and oversee backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in enterprise IT support and administration.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, and security tools.
- Experience with database administration and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
