Senior Systems Administrator responsible for planning, installing, testing, and maintaining secure IT infrastructure for classified environments, including Windows and Linux platforms, network services, and security controls.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and configure hardware and software for classified systems up to Top Secret, SCI, and SAP levels.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services, applying security best practices.
- Implement and monitor IT security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and change management records.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration for high‑security environments.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Valid security clearance at Top Secret or higher, with experience handling SCI/SAP data.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a mission‑critical setting.
