Software Engineer
IT Specialist responsible for managing Windows-based infrastructure, providing technical support to end users, and maintaining network and server environments using PowerShell and Active Directory tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage Active Directory accounts, groups, and permissions, ensuring secure access controls.
- Utilize PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and generate system reports.
- Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity problems, and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
- Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration and technical support roles.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
