About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify and remediate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and incident response plans in alignment with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate cloud services (AWS/Azure) securely into the enterprise architecture.
- Monitor security events, analyze logs, and respond to incidents using SIEM tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in system administration and information security roles.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud security best practices.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
