Systems Engineer
Senior systems administrator responsible for managing and securing Windows and Linux environments, automating tasks with PowerShell, maintaining Active Directory, and supporting cloud infrastructure on AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system monitoring.
- Implement and manage network services, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Support and monitor AWS cloud resources, including EC2, S3, and IAM, ensuring security and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and support applications and infrastructure upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration for Windows and Linux platforms.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud security best practices.
