IT Specialist (SysAdmin) responsible for maintaining and optimizing Windows and Linux server environments, managing Active Directory, scripting with PowerShell, and ensuring secure, high‑availability network and virtualization infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Administer Active Directory, including user and group management, group policy creation, and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system monitoring.
- Manage virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware) and oversee virtual machine provisioning and lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data.
- Collaborate with network teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues and enforce security policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, with a strong background in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
