Provides comprehensive IT support and system administration, managing Windows and Linux environments, network infrastructure, and security operations for mission‑critical applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, and user account lifecycle across the organization.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Develop and execute PowerShell scripts and automation tasks to streamline routine operations.
- Implement security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents to protect information assets.
- Provide tier‑2/3 technical support, documenting resolutions and contributing to knowledge‑base resources.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in system and network administration within a secure, mission‑oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu), and Active Directory management.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall technologies.
- Hands‑on experience scripting with PowerShell (or Bash) for automation and configuration management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, incident response, and vulnerability mitigation.
