Software Engineer
Lead enterprise IT infrastructure and policy planning, using ITIL/ITSM frameworks and ServiceNow to design solutions, manage SLAs, and drive analytics‑based improvements for critical Department of War missions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT infrastructure aligned with ITIL and ITSM best practices.
- Develop, negotiate, and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure service quality and compliance with mission requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams through both Agile and traditional project lifecycles, delivering strategic IT initiatives on time and within budget.
- Utilize data analytics to identify performance gaps, recommend optimizations, and report actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Formulate and update IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks that support Department of War objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform administration.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure architecture and SLA management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead Agile and waterfall projects, coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience turning metrics into strategic improvements.
- Effective communication and advisory skills for senior leadership and stakeholder engagement.
