About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical Review Board process, evaluating project proposals, architectures, and implementation plans for compliance with federal IT standards.
- Develop and maintain IT capital planning strategies, including budgeting, investment analysis, and lifecycle management.
- Provide policy guidance and interpret regulations affecting IT acquisition, security, and data management.
- Coordinate with program managers, architects, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the portfolio of IT projects, ensuring robust controls and documentation.
Requirements
- Advanced experience (typically 7+ years) in IT project management, governance, and capital planning within a large, complex organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting technical reviews, risk assessments, and policy analysis for federal or enterprise‑scale IT initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT frameworks (e.g., FISMA, OMB Circular A‑130, ITIL) and budgeting processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) preferred.
