IT Specialist Network - Air National Guard Units

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and incident reports for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in network administration and troubleshooting in a complex IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience with VPN technologies, firewall configuration, and network monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
