About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day IT support for mission‑critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including patch management, endpoint protection, and access controls.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, deploy, and document IT solutions that meet mission requirements.
- Monitor system logs, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration within a secure environment.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux distributions, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to document procedures clearly.
