Key Responsibilities
- Lead integration efforts for Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization projects, ensuring seamless data flow between legacy and new systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, test, and deploy IT solutions that meet VA security and compliance standards.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, providing status updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for IT infrastructure and data integrity.
- Support end‑user training and troubleshooting for new EHR modules and related technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, preferably within a government or VA environment.
- Strong knowledge of EHR systems, integration protocols, and VA security policies.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% for project implementation and support.
