About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced Tier I and Tier II technical support for broadcast‑grade media ingest, editing, playout, and archiving systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments that host mission‑critical digital media applications.
- Configure, monitor, and resolve network issues affecting real‑time media transport and distribution.
- Manage virtualized infrastructure (VMware/Hyper‑V) to ensure high availability of broadcast services.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and performance optimizations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting broadcast IT systems and digital media workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
- Proficiency with network protocols, routing, and troubleshooting tools for real‑time media transport.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills to assist end users and cross‑functional teams.
