About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network and system architectures to support cyber command operations.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery of cyber incidents.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks aligned with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into development and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles within federal or defense environments.
- Proficient in network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and system hardening practices.
- Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27035) and forensic tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to operate in a high‑security setting.
