Software Engineer
Provides first- and second‑level technical support, installs and maintains hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and resolves help‑desk tickets to ensure reliable IT operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑ and second‑level support to end‑users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and related directory services.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and coordinate with service providers as needed.
- Track, prioritize, and close help‑desk tickets in accordance with service‑level agreements.
- Document procedures, maintain inventory, and assist in IT asset lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience supporting Windows environments and enterprise networking.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite, and common desktop operating systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Experience with help‑desk ticketing systems and basic IT security best practices.
