Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of secure, ethical AI solutions for Treasury, ensuring compliance with mission, cybersecurity, and performance standards using Agile, DevSecOps, and Digital Engineering practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce technical strategies, standards, and architectures for AI deployment across Treasury and federal agencies.
- Ensure systems meet mission-critical, cybersecurity, and performance requirements through best practices in Agile, DevSecOps, and Digital Engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing Treasury infrastructures while maintaining data integrity and privacy.
- Lead risk assessments, threat modeling, and mitigation plans for AI-enabled services.
- Provide guidance and training on secure AI development and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AI system design, architecture, and secure deployment.
- Strong background in cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and risk mitigation.
- Hands‑on expertise with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps pipelines, and Digital Engineering tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within government or regulated environments is a plus.
