About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain application software solutions for census data collection and analysis.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Write and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Manage relational databases, perform data integrity checks, and optimize queries for large datasets.
- Diagnose and resolve network and security issues, applying patches and hardening measures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in application software development and system administration.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux distributions, and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and network protocols.
