Software Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to improve data analytics and decision‑making across 27 agencies.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to embed secure coding practices and threat‑resilient architectures.
- Analyze large datasets, build pipelines, and maintain data quality for AI training and inference.
- Document technical designs, provide training, and support end‑user adoption of AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development using Python and relevant libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proficiency with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud‑native deployment.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing secure data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a federal environment.
