Design and lead end‑to‑end technical solutions for hospital billing platforms, integrating cloud services, APIs, and data stores to improve accuracy, scalability, and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document the overall architecture for hospital billing applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Design, develop, and oversee integration of APIs and data pipelines between billing systems, EMR/EHR platforms, and third‑party services.
- Select and configure cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) to support high‑availability, secure, and scalable billing workloads.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and operations teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, SQL database design, and performance optimization across billing modules.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, preferably within healthcare or financial billing domains.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
- Proven expertise in API design (REST/GraphQL) and data integration techniques, including HL7/FHIR standards.
- Hands‑on experience with relational databases, SQL query optimization, and data security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
