Manage and support on‑site IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, virtualization, and user services, ensuring reliable operations and rapid issue resolution for a corporate environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including patching, performance monitoring, and backup/recovery processes.
- Manage Active Directory objects, group policies, and user authentication across the site.
- Support VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure, handling VM provisioning, resource allocation, and troubleshooting.
- Provide end‑user support for Office 365, Windows desktops, and peripheral devices, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor and maintain network components (switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi) to guarantee connectivity and security.
- Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and reporting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere or comparable virtualization platforms.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience scripting with PowerShell for automation and system management.
- ITIL or similar IT service management certification preferred.
