Software Engineer
IT Service Engineer responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing servers and networks, and ensuring high availability of services using performance monitoring tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Install, configure, and maintain end‑user devices and server environments, ensuring secure and reliable operation.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively address potential bottlenecks to maintain high availability.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, coordinate with vendors, and document solutions in the knowledge base.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security procedures for critical IT assets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT service management, hardware and software support, and network administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to problem resolution.
- Knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) and backup solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
