Level 1 IT Service Desk Engineer delivering remote and onsite support across the UK, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support via phone, email and remote tools for end‑users across the UK.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, escalating complex problems to senior teams.
- Maintain accurate incident records in the ticketing system and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with on‑site support and project delivery activities, including equipment deployment and configuration.
- Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management and group policy.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites, including Heathrow Airport, as needed.
