Lead the design, implementation and testing of enterprise‑wide disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal downtime across cloud and on‑prem environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and recovery time objective (RTO) / recovery point objective (RPO) determinations.
- Coordinate and execute regular DR tests, tabletop exercises, and full‑scale failover drills, documenting lessons learned and updating plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with cloud architects to design resilient multi‑region architectures on AWS/Azure, ensuring automated failover and data replication.
- Provide guidance on incident response, escalation procedures, and post‑incident reviews to continuously improve recovery processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Service Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Business Continuity Management.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and related best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and related DR services.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications (CBC, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
