Security Engineer
IT Security Engineer responsible for protecting enterprise systems through threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response, leveraging network security, penetration testing, and cloud security expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Lead incident response activities, perform root‑cause analysis, and develop remediation plans.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare and present security audit reports to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT security, network security, and vulnerability management.
- Hands‑on expertise with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite) and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, particularly AWS security services.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
