About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycle for the American Science Cloud, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Apply Agile/Scrum practices to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across ORNL and partner labs.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate communication, and provide transparent status reporting.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and budget risks.
- Drive continuous improvement of project processes and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in a scientific or research environment.
- Proven track record with Agile/Scrum frameworks and cloud‑based solutions.
- Strong analytical, risk‑management, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- BS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
