IT Project Manager - Axle

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with research objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, manage backlogs, and prioritize tasks for multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with biomedical scientists, software engineers, and data scientists to translate research needs into technical solutions.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep milestones on schedule.
• Prepare and present status reports to senior stakeholders, including NIH partners, on project health and outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT project management experience in a research or biotech setting.
• Proven expertise in Agile Scrum and project management tools (Jira, MS Project).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FDA) is a plus.
