IT Project Manager, AI Transformation Banking - OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Manage AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and digital transformation initiatives across enterprise functions.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Establish project governance, monitor project health, manage risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising solution architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity teams, data scientists, business analysts, QA teams, and vendors.
• Drive Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery methodologies depending on project requirements.
• Oversee vendor engagement, project budgets, procurement activities, and third-party deliverables.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise governance, security, regulatory, risk management, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Monitor project KPIs and prepare executive-level reporting, steering committee updates, and status presentations.
• Support solution deployment, user acceptance testing (UAT), production rollout, hypercare, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering complex technology initiatives.
• Hands-on experience leading AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, or Data Analytics projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering cloud-based technology solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise system integration, APIs, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and application development lifecycles.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, vendors, procurement activities, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
• Financial services, banking, or highly regulated industry experience is advantageous.
