About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects across multiple disciplines.
- Apply Agile and Scrum frameworks to drive iterative development, maintain backlogs, and ensure timely releases.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project health.
- Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial compliance.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, communicating status, expectations, and deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, and post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; PMP, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing large‑scale IT projects, preferably in a research or government environment.
- Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and traditional project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources while delivering quality outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
