Systems Engineer
Lead technical support for IT operations, ensuring reliable infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments, network stability, and cloud services. Leverage scripting and monitoring tools to proactively resolve issues and optimize system performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows Server and Linux systems, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring high availability.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions (Nagios, Zabbix) to detect and remediate performance bottlenecks.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripts, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate with cloud teams to support AWS/Azure environments, including VM provisioning, security, and cost optimization.
- Document solutions, update knowledge base, and provide training to end‑users and junior staff.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Hands‑on experience with network troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and basic automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and related services.
