Software Engineer
Support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments, automate tasks with PowerShell and Bash, and monitor systems using industry‑standard tools. Strong networking and cloud (AWS) knowledge required to ensure high availability and security.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows Server and Linux systems, diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
- Configure, maintain, and monitor network devices, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal connectivity.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell and Bash scripts, improving efficiency and consistency.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, CloudWatch) to proactively detect and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud resources on AWS, including EC2, RDS, and S3.
- Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and provide training to end users and junior staff.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations or system administration.
- Proficient with Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS or Ubuntu).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
- Hands‑on experience with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS services and basic IaC (CloudFormation or Terraform) is a plus.
