Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of high‑performance trading infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across on‑prem and cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux‑based servers, networking gear, and FPGA‑enabled hardware for low‑latency trading.
- Configure and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and container orchestration for workload isolation.
- Deploy and tune monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to detect and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Automate routine operations with scripting (Python, Bash) and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform).
- Collaborate with developers and traders to optimize infrastructure for latency, throughput, and fault tolerance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations for high‑frequency trading or similar latency‑critical environments.
- Strong proficiency with Linux system administration, networking protocols, and hardware management.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization, containerization, and monitoring tools.
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with IaC tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
