Lead a high‑performing network security team, designing and managing disaster recovery plans, firewall configurations, and overall network protection for critical national infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of network security engineers, ensuring timely delivery of projects and adherence to security standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust disaster recovery (DR) strategies for network infrastructure.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize firewall solutions to protect against evolving threats.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risks, conduct vulnerability assessments, and enforce security policies.
- Develop and present technical reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on DR and firewall management.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing technical teams.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and threat mitigation.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent) preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
