Software Engineer
Lead a team to design, build, and secure enterprise data networks, integrating firewalls, cloud services, and voice/video solutions while ensuring high availability and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure, high‑performance data networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Integrate voice and video services with existing network infrastructure, ensuring QoS and reliability.
- Design and maintain both on‑premises and cloud‑based network components, leveraging AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of network engineers, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and project ownership.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to align network architecture with business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network design and management.
- Proven expertise with firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and network device configuration.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network) and hybrid environments.
- Experience with VoIP, video conferencing, and related QoS mechanisms.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of leading technical teams.
