Software Engineer
Provides technical support and administration for network infrastructure and end‑user systems, ensuring reliable connectivity, security, and productivity across Windows and Office 365 environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Active Directory services, including user provisioning, group policy, and security permissions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Provide Tier‑2/3 help desk support for end‑user hardware, software, and Office 365 applications, delivering timely resolutions.
- Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks, reporting, and system hardening.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on network upgrades, security patches, and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN technologies, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Proficiency with Office 365 administration and end‑user support best practices.
- Experience scripting with PowerShell to automate administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple support tickets in a fast‑paced environment.
