Engineering Manager
Lead the design, deployment, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable hardware, software, and network services while driving security and cloud initiatives for a growing organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and maintain servers, storage, and networking equipment across multiple sites.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Implement and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure) to optimize resource utilization.
- Develop and enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage backup/recovery solutions.
- Provide technical training and support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with senior management to recommend technology upgrades and cost‑effective solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, and virtualization.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and backup technologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical staff.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
