IT Manager responsible for implementing and maintaining LIMS and RIS/PACS platforms, leading digital transformation, and applying AI-driven solutions to improve laboratory and radiology operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, configure, and maintain LIMS and RIS/PACS systems across multiple diagnostic centers.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, automating workflows in radiology, pathology, and laboratory processes.
- Collaborate with vendors, clinical staff, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Develop and deploy AI tools to enhance diagnostic accuracy, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing LIMS and RIS/PACS implementations in a healthcare environment.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, and familiarity with SQL databases.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for hosting and scaling applications.
- Knowledge of AI/ML techniques applied to medical imaging or laboratory data.
- Excellent communication and project‑management abilities, with a track record of delivering technology projects on time and within budget.
