About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy for data operations, ensuring reliable, scalable pipelines that feed the enterprise analytics platform.
- Architect, build, and maintain data warehouses and lakehouse solutions on cloud infrastructure, supporting both batch and real‑time workloads.
- Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, fostering best practices in data modeling, ETL development, and code quality.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into reusable data products and self‑service analytics.
- Implement monitoring, governance, and security controls to guarantee data integrity, compliance, and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform management, with a strong focus on cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for building ETL processes and data transformations.
- Hands‑on experience designing and operating data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and drive cross‑functional projects from concept to production.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization techniques.
