Engineering Manager
Lead corporate IT operations, overseeing network infrastructure, security, cloud services, and vendor relationships while driving projects that improve reliability and support business objectives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network and server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage incident response.
- Lead IT projects from planning through execution, coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing budgets and timelines.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing service delivery.
- Oversee cloud environments (AWS or Azure), including migration, optimization, and cost management.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users, fostering a reliable and secure technology environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 5+ years of progressive IT experience.
- Proven experience managing network, server, and cloud infrastructures in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, AWS/Azure certifications) preferred.
