Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure, overseeing cloud platforms, virtualization, and network services while guiding a team of engineers to ensure reliable, secure operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud environments on Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Design and manage virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper‑V) and Windows/Linux server platforms to support critical business applications.
- Lead a team of system and network engineers, providing technical mentorship, performance reviews, and career development.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and disaster‑recovery procedures aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise IT engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong expertise in Azure and AWS cloud services, including migration, automation, and monitoring.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Hands‑on scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and configuration management.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management abilities.
