Lead secure, standards‑based integration of clinical and administrative systems using HL7, FHIR, Mirth Connect and Health Connect, ensuring reliable data flow and improved patient care.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain integration solutions that connect disparate healthcare systems using HL7 and FHIR standards.
- Configure, monitor, and upgrade Mirth Connect and Health Connect engines to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and business stakeholders to define integration requirements and validate data accuracy.
- Implement security controls, audit logging, and compliance checks to protect patient information.
- Provide troubleshooting support, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement for integration workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience with HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, and healthcare integration platforms.
- Hands‑on expertise with Mirth Connect and Health Connect configuration and scripting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, interoperability, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication skills for documenting processes and training end users.
