Lead and execute complex IT infrastructure installations and operations for USPACOM, managing secure government facilities across the Pacific region using Windows Server, Cisco networking, virtualization, and automation scripting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Cisco network equipment at secure government sites across the U.S. Pacific Command AOR.
- Implement and manage virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper‑V) to support mission‑critical applications.
- Develop and execute PowerShell automation scripts for system provisioning, patch management, and compliance reporting.
- Apply ITIL best practices to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents, ensuring high availability and security.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and conduct on‑site travel (≈25%) to provide hands‑on support and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure operations, including Windows Server administration and Cisco routing/switching.
- Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and automation scripting (PowerShell).
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, network security, and secure facility requirements.
- Willingness to travel regularly to remote sites in Hawaii, Guam, Japan, and other Pacific locations.
