Devops Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain data‑center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of virtualized, Windows, and Linux environments while managing networking and storage solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deploy, and operate VMware vSphere clusters and related virtualization services.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, including patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot data‑center networking components such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Manage SAN/NAS storage solutions, provisioning LUNs, and ensuring data integrity and backup compliance.
- Implement automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and incident response.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in data‑center operations, virtualization, and server administration.
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, Windows Server (2016/2019), and Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching) and storage technologies (FC, iSCSI, NFS).
- Experience with automation/scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible) and monitoring platforms.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, CCNA, RHCE) are a plus.
