Design, implement, and support on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across Windows, Linux, and virtual environments using AWS, Azure, VMware, and automation scripting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid infrastructure spanning on‑premises data centers and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware) and ensure optimal performance of Windows Server and Linux workloads.
- Implement and monitor networking, security, and storage solutions to meet availability and compliance standards.
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for provisioning, configuration management, and routine operational tasks.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis to improve system reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Linux, and VMware administration.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS and/or Azure services, including networking, IAM, and monitoring.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell (or Python) for automation and infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication with cross‑functional teams.
